147وَما كانَ قَولَهُم إِلّا أَن قالوا رَبَّنَا اغفِر لَنا ذُنوبَنا وَإِسرافَنا في أَمرِنا وَثَبِّت أَقدامَنا وَانصُرنا عَلَى القَومِ الكافِرينَT. B. IrvingTheir statement was merely to say: �Our Lord, pardon us our offences and our excesses in business. Brace our footsteps and support us against disbelieving folk!"
