207 Preface وَمِنَ النّاسِ مَن يَشري نَفسَهُ ابتِغاءَ مَرضاتِ اللَّهِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ رَءوفٌ بِالعِبادِAli Quli QaraiAnd among the people is he who sells his soul1 seeking the pleasure of Allah, and Allah is most kind to [His] servants. Or ‘his life.’
